Hiking on Sunday
After spending a lonely Saturday, i went mountain hiking on Sunday. Went 八大处 with Rena & her son, Star & Julia. We decided not to go to 香山, as there was a long queue going up the mountain. We decided to change our route to 八大处 and up we went for the mountain climbing. Huff & puff as we climbed higher, the air seems thinner and i've difficulty in handling my steps. When we reached the top (almost though), a pretty nice scenery came into our eyes. As the sky was still clouded with 雾, the view was short and not as fantastic as i imagined. The temperature was about 9 deg.We walked around the mountain and ended up eating 茶汤（杏仁口味）at the bottom. As it was way past lunch time, our stomaches were grumbling with hunger. We then proceeded to the residential district near 八大处, and settled ourselves at 黄记皇 for a superd lunch. It was a steam-boat typed of food and we ate to our stomache full before we left the restaurant at 4:30pm !
Decided to go to Star's apartment which was situated nearby. She lived alone in a 1-yr old purchased apartment of about 60 sq metre. Not a big house, but good enough for her. Probably the only setback is the long journey from her place to office. It took almost an hour and more for me to reach the hotel, which was situated just next of the office building.
So much for the story of my weekend escapade. Btw, i have decided to change my flight back home to Friday. I wouldn't want to spend another lonely Saturday in Beijing again.
