My idol - 李克勤's wedding on 28th Nov 2006


My life-long idol - 李克勤 was finally married on 28th November 2006 in HK. (pity that i do not have the chance to grace his event)

1st: His special invitation card -

　　本报讯 (记者黄长洁)李克勤大婚结束，神秘的“月光宝盒”喜帖内藏的秘密也揭开谜底。因为在他派发喜帖时，曾提醒宾客出席喜宴时需带宝盒，以便带走宝物。所以无论是收到宝盒的亲朋还是看到新闻的读者，都对这个谜底期待不已。

　　李克勤的婚礼已于前日在洲际酒店举行，他事前派发的喜帖并不是一般的请柬，而是一个16：9的平面方角巨形的丝绒月光宝盒，据悉每个宝盒制作成本就要500元。在当晚婚宴现场，出席的亲朋收到一个黑色的册子，册子正好可以嵌入月光宝盒中，与宝盒组成一个完整的婚礼纪念品，册子中收有三样东西，分别是：
　　第一件，李克勤和卢淑仪都是曼联的忠实球迷，所以他们之前专门到曼联队位于英国的曼彻斯特城主场拍照，所以就送上卢淑仪穿着婚纱、李克勤穿着礼服站在球场中心的照片；
　　


第二件，也是一张照片，两人在当年的定情地——1992年的港姐英国外景地再次拍摄纪念照，卢淑仪穿着黑色礼服、李克勤穿着白色礼服；

第三件，是一张邀请函，上面写着“2016”，还有两个大人拖着三个小孩的剪影，邀请各位亲朋参两人的结婚10周年庆祝典礼，可见两人对这段婚姻的信心。

　"2006年11月28日，香港，卡式磁带和皇冠终于有情人终成眷属﹗李克勤和卢淑仪在半千亲友祝福下举行婚宴，他们将13年的相恋故事化为文字写在纪念相册上送给宾客，获得新公公连番夸赞的卢淑仪还数度感动落泪。
　　李克勤和卢淑仪11月28日晚恍如化身成王子与公主，在温馨和感人的场面中完成童话式的婚礼。会场经过精心布置，不单用灯光投射出代表一对新人的皇冠和卡式带标志，门外还摆放了一辆南瓜车，足见新郎对新娘的心意。卢淑仪28日晚换了3、4套婚纱和晚装，以最漂亮的姿态亮相。
　　千万元婚礼娶老婆
　　据知，克勤为迎娶卢淑仪，除付出288万元礼金之外，连同钻饰、酒席、婚纱照及请柬等共耗费逾千万元。婚宴以播放克勤和卢淑仪于英国曼联老特拉福德球场拍摄的婚纱照花絮片段作揭幕，至于作为回礼之用的纪念相册就记录了两人在英国邂逅时首次四目交投、以及首次牵手的经过，克勤还承诺他日结婚，定要重临相识故地，并到最喜爱的老特拉福德球场，所以这次拍摄婚纱照也是兑现多年前的承诺。
　　重温浪漫片段后，卢淑仪致词时一开腔即忍不住落下喜悦之泪，哽咽地赞赏克勤是很好的老公，嫁得他是自己的骄傲，克勤也以卢淑仪是一生中最爱的人作响应。及后克勤父亲以风趣言语致词，赢得众来宾称赞如同栋笃笑(单口相声)般幽默吸引，他还大赞卢淑仪是好儿媳妇，对他们照顾周到，所有事都安排好，再令卢淑仪感动流泪。
　　志伟最早醉倒
　　当来宾品尝过乳猪、响螺、鲍鱼、鸡、鱼及鲍翅后，一对新人即向宾客敬酒，伴郎刘德华、兄弟团谭咏麟、陈百祥等均有护驾顶酒。但除刘德华外，谭咏麟、陈百祥、乐易玲、陈淑兰、陈慧娴及关淑怡等都喝得脸红红、脚步浮浮。之前已表明不胜酒力的曾志伟至凌晨3时仍未见其踪影，原来早在吃翅时已醉倒了。
　　刘德华温拿唱歌赠兴
　　婚宴重头戏唱歌环节则在凌晨12时进行，继一对新人互唱情歌赠送对方后，刘德华和温拿都有高歌，是以至凌晨两时半后才相继离场，连克勤的父母也留到差不多时间才离开。当晚来宾众多，却迟迟不见扬言会到场的徐小凤，原来她早已秘密入场，但学友则不见现身。此外，参加婚宴的商台节目主持人查小欣(blog)29日在节目中透露，克勤为筹备婚礼花了整年时间，一对新人一进场即互吻，两人还许下10年之约，约定于2016年与来宾一同庆祝结婚10周年。"

KL family trip 24-26 Nov 2006

Last weekend, i've went to KL for a short getaway with my family. Supposed to be a recharge trip, but alas afew tiny things went out just in the wrong places.

First, the coach (those normal ones from Grassland) was pretty old and i've noticed that alot of dust was floating in the air. (maybe it is their selling tactic so that you will pay more for those "high" grade coaches in the future.) My mum and aunt complaint of mosquitoes kissing their flesh throughout the whole journey. All of the seats were filled up (highly due to the school holidays), and was pretty nosy when people started chatting up conversations on the road. Guess people were over-excited during the ride to KL, that the driver had to shout at them in order to get them seated down (haha, it was very funny when nobody responded to the driver when he shouted. Y? cos they couldn't understand his cantonese! ;o)

We checked into this Swiss-Garden Hotel, situated at the convenient junction between Jln Bt Bintang and the Chinatown. Good location. But alas, the hotel rooms were just too disappointing. I should say they were worse than those which i've stayed in China. 2 of the 4 rooms, contained irritating smells of cigarettes and ammonia! (oh my goodness! i simply cannot believe that a 4-star hotel would smell like shit!) Called the operator several times to threatened for change of rooms. But the answer i've received was: "Sorry madam, our hotel is full and we are unable to change the rooms for you. We will send our housekeepers to sterilize your rooms instead." Arrgh, really bad luck. When we returned to the hotel rooms after dinner that very night, we saw the sterilizers working very hard to keep the air clean. And as a compensation for my "outblower", the hotel then decided to give all of our rooms a plate of cookies each. (so stingy)

The rest of the 3 days 2 nights were sight-seeing and shopping..... Here are some of the photos taken during the trip.

At the connecting bridge of KLCC. Its my 1st time up there. No swaying feeling of the bridge as anticipated. The view is normal. But we had to wake up very early to queue for the tickets. There was a long queue when we reached the towers. Luckily, we managed to grap hold of 8 tix to go up at the 9:30am timeslot. The time was just nice, and we had time to shop at the KLCC thereafter.

Next, we went to KL tower aka. the tele-com tower on a hill-top. The 360 degree views are much fascinating than those from KLCC. We stayed there to watch the sun-set and saw the day n night views of KLCC towers.






Can see Genting highlands leh !! ;p

It has been such a long time since i've last minched afew phrases about myself in my blog. This place is so familiar, yet so faraway.... Nevermind that i've catched up now. Watch out for more to come !
